The Body Corporate of the Strata required a heat inhibiting system to be incorporated with the new membrane that the rooftop required.

Tasman Resinflow Pty Ltd., as the primary contractor, specified a 20-year warranty system that incorporates the best external membrane available with a complementing heat stopping membrane. The System devised utilized high quality components that comprised of: AMI Hydrostatic Epoxy as the priming /sealing base, AMI S420 rowel on heat stopping membrane and the third component, AMI S400 Silicone membrane. The system enabled Tasman Resinflow to provide the Strata with a 20-year warranty. The job was completed in 4 days with no disturbance to the residents.

The old membrane had been in-situ for over 20 years and in places was very worn and damaged.

The roof was high pressure washed and all damage and loose old membrane made good.
Then two coats of AMI HydroStatic Epoxy were applied on successive days.

Once the epoxy was coat was dry, a trowel application of S420 Thermal was applied. This product is designed as a membrane and also as a thermal block to stop heat ingress into the building through the roof.

The final application is the unique silicone S400 membrane. This membrane is not affected by pooling water or UV. This enables AMI to offer a 20-year warranty for this system and up to 25 years for multiple S400 coats.
